FTGO's Grant Giveaways

FTGO has been able to giveaway numerous items and monetary donations! some include:providing monetary assistance to Charlie so he can purchase his adaptive bike. Charlie is unable to walk and has limited mobility, so the adaptive bike will not only allow him to get exercise, but also have fun! Sophia was given a head pod that provides head control assistance. The head pod will help develop head strength with the goal of independent head control. Olivia has polymicrogyria that has affected the left side of her body's balance and motor skills. FTGO was able to giveaway a Weehoo bike trailer that now allows her to participate in family bike rides by having her own seat and pedals!

FTGO Kickoff Fundraiser - 10.17.2015

After several years of bumps in the roads and restructuring, FTGO gained its not-for-profit status in May of 2015. Held at Hawthorne's Backyard in West Chicago, this event consisted of a pig roast, raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle. We even got to celebrate Grace's 18th birthday! For our first fundraiser, it was a huge success and we can not thank everyone enough who supported us by attending the event, sending donations, or helping secure raffle prizes. We are very gracious and humbled by the support of the community!

Bowl-A-Thon & Jackson's Giveaway - 05.22.2016

FTGO held their first bowl-a-thon on Sunday, May 22nd at Fitz's Spare Key's in Elmhurst, IL. Everyone got to enjoy unlimited bowling, appetizers, pizza, and a 50/50 raffle. We even held a competition for the top individual bowler who won a bowling bottle opener and a Binny's gift card! The day was especially special because we got to present a giveaway to the sweetest little boy named Jordan Jackson who was diagnosed with genetic disease called Spinal Muscular Atropy.  We felt lucky to be able to give Jordan a Spio vest and leg immobilizers to help him sit straight, provide stability while he is playing, and help prevent long-term spinal deformity.

Amy's Giveaway -
08.17.2015

When Amy found out her sister was pregnant, she wanted to be able to do the one thing Aunt's love to do - take their nephew on a walk. However, Amy was born with cerebral palsy and is not able to take her nephew on a "traditional" walk. FTGO was able to give a simple gift to this amazing woman. With the help of a few local engineers, a custom cart was created for Amy that attaches to the front of her wheelchair. Her and Owen now go on many walks together!
FTGO is proud to be able to donate items and gift certificates to various people in need around the Chicagoland! It couldn't be done without the help of you!
